Privacy policy.
How Remos Space Systems AB handles consent choices, site measurement, and privacy-related requests. Short, deliberate, and not lawyer-padded.
On this page
Remos Space Systems AB uses a consent-based tracking setup for optional technologies on this website. Necessary storage remains active so the site can function, protect against abuse, and remember the privacy choices you make.
01 What we store
When you interact with the consent interface, the site stores a first-party record of your consent choices in local storage. That record includes the consent categories you selected, the time of your decision, and the consent version used at the time.
We do not share this record with third parties. It only lives on your device and the server never sees it.
02 Optional analytics and marketing
Optional analytics and marketing technologies are blocked by default. They only load after you grant consent. When enabled, Google Tag Manager may load Google technologies that help us measure traffic, understand site usage, or evaluate campaign performance.
No third-party measurement fires until you opt in. You can revoke consent at any time via the Cookie settings button in the footer.
03 Lawful basis
For non-essential analytics and marketing technologies, the lawful basis is your consent. You may refuse optional technologies without losing access to the site.
04 How to change or withdraw consent
Revisit your settings at any time through the Cookie settings control in the site footer. Changing your settings updates future tracking behaviour from that point onward.
05 Google services
If optional tracking is enabled, Google may process related measurement data according to its own services and infrastructure. See Google's privacy and business data documentation before enabling those categories.
06 Contact form protection
To prevent automated abuse of the contact form (spam, scraping, brute-force submissions), we run several lightweight checks on each submission. These checks are necessary for site security and operate under our legitimate interest in keeping the form usable for real visitors.
We use Cloudflare Turnstile to verify that submissions come from a human rather than an automated script. Turnstile loads a small script from Cloudflare's domain and analyses browser signals (mouse, keyboard, and timing patterns) to compute a humanness score. Turnstile does not track you across sites and does not feed advertising profiles. It may set a short-lived first-party cookie scoped to the challenge domain to remember a successful verification within the same session.
We also apply a hidden 'honeypot' field and a minimum render-time check. Both are first-party only — no data leaves your browser or our server.
07 Infrastructure providers
Running this site requires processing some data through trusted infrastructure providers. These providers act as data processors under our instructions and only see the request metadata strictly required to deliver the service.
Cloudflare sits in front of the site as a content-delivery network and security layer. It receives the IP address, request headers, and any cookies attached to each request, and applies bot-mitigation and caching at the edge.
Heroku (a Salesforce company) hosts the application and its database. The application servers are deployed in EU regions where available; the database is provisioned by Heroku Postgres.
Bucketeer (Amazon Web Services, EU-West-1) stores blog images and other media uploaded through the site's admin area.
Google (Gmail SMTP) is used as the outbound mail relay for contact-form submissions and auto-replies. Submission content (your name, email, message, and any optional fields) passes through Google's SMTP infrastructure on its way to info@remosspace.com.
We do not sell or share contact-form data with third parties beyond what is required to deliver the message.
